Overall

As I am limited in space here I am going to severely summarize my experience. We scheduled a move for the afternoon of July 27th. Come moving day I requested at approximately 10am that Matt give me 1 hour notice as to allow amply time to meet the movers at the pick up location; this was my last communication with him where he replied "yes". Come 4pm I was getting nervous and tried to contact him again to no avail. At 4:45 the movers contacted us apologizing repeatedly and we agreed to meet them at 5/5:30. A few moments before 7pm they finally showed up. Due to lack of communication not only were they not able to load everything, my storage unit was left open and I had to return at 6am to finish packing and lock up myself (it is an indoor facility and the doors lock at 9pm). At approximately 10:45 (1.5 hours after heading this way) I received an erratic phone call where I heard an officer and one of the movers involved in a stand off. Williamson County Sheriff's department later disclosed that he had outstanding warrants, was evading arrest, and was originally pulled over for driving a vehicle with NO working lights. He went to jail, but the very kind officer allowed us to pick up our stuff. We repaired the faulty lights (it was an electrical issue) and my husband tried to drive it to save it from impound. The truck, however, had no functioning dash/interior lights and would not accelerate over 40 mph. We hired another set of movers at literally midnight to save our stuff. We also drove the non-arrested employee back to his car (an hour in both directions). Between gas, movers (both for that night and few days later to get our stuff inside), damages, etc we are out of pocket almost $1500 fixing their mess. I was mistakenly willing to let it go as a lesson learned until I a couple days later Christopher Matthew Colbert (the owner) fraudulently charged my account $708.88 (that's $350 an hour for work that was not done, and THEFT). Through this entire process I tried contacting "Matt" and was ignored. Please, for the sake of your sanity avoid this person at all costs! Google his track record, it will speak to you more than this short review will ever be able to.
