Midwest Edge Dance Academy

The prior review really doesn't qualify as a justifiable "rating", because this dancer was NOT happy with her critiques. Yes, MWE is a jazz and hip hop based studio....and anyone signing up for dance classes here is made aware of this. There are EXTREMELY talented ballet teachers here....and give students a phenomenal ballet foundation. MWE is a family atmosphere that focuses on a well-rounded individual. The Directors and teachers all choreograph their own dances, which is a far cry from most studios who fly choreographers in from around the country. Very talented.

The classes at Midwest Edge are great and they have a lot of talented dancers. However, I have been dancing my whole life and was a pointe dancer prior to coming there. I joined a pointe class at this school and had a teacher tell me I wasnt fit for ballet or pointe there because I had the wrong type of feet. I was so angry, especially after all the money and time I put into that place. I would definitley not recommend it if u want to take ballet, pointe, or even tap!
