I contacted Mike on Friday at 6pm after all of the rain caused my roof to leak. He came out on Saturday morning and repaired the leak on Monday at a great price. I am very impressed my his fast response, professionalism and great price. I would highly recommend this company.

My experience with Lovelace Roofing began back in 2005. I was in dire need of a roof replacement. I grew up in a construction family so I immediately began to contact several companies in the area and gathered probably 5 estimates for the job. Of the companies I contacted Lovelace was the only one that followed up on the initial contact, not to HARD SELL me there services but to ensure that I had a full understanding of the scope of work that was covered by their estimate. In today’s fast paced world this kind of personal attention is few and far between. You can call it a sales tactic if you like but I felt valued as a potential client. The contract was signed and as described the crew arrived on time and ready to get to work. Every one of the crew members, laborers, tradesmen, and foreman were very professional and respectful of my property and family. Some even taking the time to explain some of the cool tools they were using to my very inquisitive then 12 year old daughter. The entire job was done in less than a day and a half. I think there was an issue with the ridge vent that delayed the process. I expressed my concerns of a thorough clean up after the work was done at the time of the estimate due to the fact I didn’t want to catch a nail in one of my motorcycle tires. The crew didn’t even need to be reminded of this and went so far as to even rake the first several feet of the job site and re comb the area with the magnets. Fast forward to just a few months ago, my wife and I noticed that there was evidence of a leak in one of the upstairs rooms and even water dripping at the fireplace during one rain event. We contacted Lovelace Roofing to check into any kind of warranty that may defer some cost of the repair, the receptionist took our contact info and said someone would call us. That very same day I was contacted and asked if they could come by and inspect the issue. The representative who showed up was very professional and detailed in his inspection of the roof and attic. He informed me that he would pass the info on to Mr. Tom Lovelace and I should hear something back. Tom called me early the next week and informed me that it had been 9 years since they had installed the roof, man time flies, but he would like to come and inspect the roof himself, an appointment was set. After inspecting the area Tom told me that regardless of the time that had passed he would send a crew out to make this issue right for us. Two weeks later the crew arrived and had the repairs done in no time. They even did an excellent job of matching the existing color of the nine year old roof and the average person would not even know a repair was done. Professionalism and customer care of this quality were something I had all but given up on in today’s construction industry. I would not hesitate to refer any one to this company for any of their roofing needs. This is a top notch company that cares about the work they put out there. Great to work with.

Just had a new roof put on our home and we couldn't be happier. Professional, conscientious crew of six showed up early and had our roof finished in two days. And it's BEAUTIFUL. Would absolutely recommend Lovelace to anyone.

Very satisfied with the professionalism and attention to detail shown by the Lovelace Company! Had storm damage, called for a free estimate and signed a contract within the week (this is in stark comparison with other companies that I had contacted... many were not able to give me an estimate until weeks later). The price quoted was definitely competitive and the workmanship was next to none. I would strongly recommend that you contact the Lovelace Company if your roof or windows need any attention in the future.

On November 12, 2013 lovelace roofing came to my home and replaced the roof and all seemed well at the time. Fast forward to the last week in April and we notice that our AC unit isnt cooling the house. We call a technician out on May 3rd . After inspecting the AC unit located outside the tech informs us that we dont have any Freon in our canister so he checks all the coils and they turn out to be fine. Then he starts checking the lines and after inspecting them the tech tells us that we have a nail in our Freon line set thus causing all the Freon to leak out. I was quoted a price of $XXXX to repair the damages. I called lovelace immediately after finding this out and I was told that someone would call me on the next business day which would be May 5th. I ended up having to call lovelace on May 5th. Now whats interesting about my very brief conversation with a very rude tom lovelace of lovelace roofing is that he was willing to "work something out" until I told him how much it was going to cost, at which time I was told "you can take me to court". This isnt about the job they did on my roof. This is about tom lovelace not wanting to pay for damages they caused to my property. To put this into perspective, had I not paid lovelace the full amount owed to them for their service what would they do? Don't worry tom, lovelace roofing will never do anything else for me, my family or closest friends.

Do your research and have an inspector check the work!



This is my opinion. I had some recent roof repair done by Lovelace Roofing of Martinez. It was a small job. I had several estimates and chose Lovelace because I saw its ad on a weather TV station. The roofer that estimated the work was the same person who showed up for the work about two weeks later. He was polite but arrived late for the scheduled appointment. He had to leave to get some supplies. The work came with a 1 year guarantee. I paid him the agreed upon amount and the check was cashed.



However, instead of installing matching shingles per the agreed work, he chose to nail a WHITE rubber roof IN place of my black Weatherwood shingles. It was an overcast that morning; so I did not notice that difference until I arrived from work.



I called right away to complain and asked about the material that was obviously not shingles. I was given an option to have it painted which I found disturbing. I was then given the option of a refund or re-work. I agreed to the refund and left a message stating such on the answering service.



A few weeks passed with no refund. So, I called during business hours to find out what happened. I took several pictures on my mini-IPAD which has a zoom feature so that you can see the quality of the work. I went by the Lovelace Roofing office and showed pictures to the office manager. So, she agreed to a provide me a refund but only under the condition that Lovelace would come out and have the new work inspected that the next roofer did. That was awkward but doable. Lovelace Roofing sent me a letter stating such with the full refund amount listed.



RESEARCH - I contacted NEW roofers to determine what was actually supposed to be done for the repair - ICE SHEETING under the shingles. TODAY, that work was completed. So, I spoke with the same Lovelace Roofing manager to convey that the work was done and I am ready for a refund.



Hopefully, Lovelace Roofing will comply with their end of the agreement and provide my full refund. I just wish that they would have done it right the first time.



UPDATE - They did give me a full refund on the next day. Hooray!!!!

Cant say enough good things at Lovelace; I quoted several companies and not only was Lovelace amongst the most competitive, the word-of-mouth recommendations i got from friends was off the charts! Tom and his entire staff and crew are great folks, very professional, fair with their prices, and do great work. They started at 7 am on the dot and had pretty much all of it done by sundown with the exception of some cleanup that they finished up the following day. Trust me, you wont go wrong with Lovelace - call them today!

WOW, LOVELACE ROOFING IS GREAT, my house is my greatest investment, so when needing roofing repairs/replacement, you can understand, I was going to check around before hiring just anyone? so after checking the BBB and Angie's list, and talking to co-workers, the LOVELACE name came up several times more than others, so I called for a free estimate from a few local roofing companies? then Mr. Jeff Sherman w/ LOVELACE CO called to schedule an apt and then showed up on time, I was very pleased, when he asked to take some time to evaluate the condition of my roof and if needed, measure the roof for replacement, which after he finished his inspection, we spoke regarding the condition of my roof and I agreed that replacement was my best option, my existing roof was 18 years old, so Mr. Jeff Sherman, explained his estimate for a new roof in a manner that was very Professional and intelligent and easily understandable, WOW what a difference, from what other companies did, so my wife and I decided the LOVELACE ROOFING CO was the Best Choice to replace our roof, Mr. Jeff Sherman explained the process of scheduling and deliveries of product and when his crew would be coming out to start, just as they promised, everyone showed up on time and did a WONDERFUL JOB

Very disappointed in the service I've received from Lovelace. I work at an apartment community who used Lovelace to repair siding, which is how I was referred to them. Shortly after the work on my roof was done, the siding which was "repaired" at our apartment community started leaking again, but I thought everything was okay with our home...until I had a contractor come out to replace the ceiling where the roof had leaked. When the ceiling contractor tore out the existing sheetrock where the leak had been, you could immediately see sunlight. My husband was there when they were doing the work, and the contractor showed my husband where the work done on the roof was rigged. The contractor said he was sorry, but he didn't feel comfortable continuing with the ceiling repair because it was pointless. Because the roof work was not sufficient and you can clearly see the outside, it was going to leak again and the same problem would reoccur. I immediately called Lovelace and requested for someone to call me back, other than the gentlemen who originally did the work. This was on 10/11/2013. I was promised a call back, but didn't receive one until 10/14/2013. It was from the orginal man who did the work on both where I work and I live. Knowing that both of his jobs were insufficient, I did not want him to come back to my home and do more work. I had specifically asked for someone else to call. So, I called Lovelace back and again, was promised a return phone call on 10/14/2013. No one called. I called back to the office on 10/16/2013 and spoke with the office manager who said she'd spoken with Mr. Lovelace and they were just going to mail me a refund. Instead of coming to look at it, instead of trying to do right by their name, they are just mailing me a refund. No "I'm sorry" or anything. Terrible, terrible customer service.

They did a fantastic job on our roof. Excellent daily clean up and professional follow up. Lovelace did what they said in the timeframe they said they would do it in .Robert Mills was excellent to work with and straightforward approach. Would definitely recommend them. The price was in line with the service you would expect and receive.

Had my roof replaced by Lovelace roofing (Jan 11). Jeff and company were very impressive - they tackled this project and completed it in just one day. At one point I went outside to try to figure out how many people thay had working on this house - stopped counting at 11. They spent an ungodly amount of time cleaning up all the rubbish and nails that were left behind after the roof was done. Now after a couple really good rainfalls - I am so glad I went with Jeff and the Lovelace Company. I received estimates from at least 12 other local companies before deciding on Lovelace - probably took me at least 2 weeks to make a decision - it was not a mistake to go with Lovelace!
