American Taxi of Augusta

I have used this company over and over again with satisfaction. I take early flights very often from Augusta GA Airport and American Taxi of Augusta is the company that I usually take for cab ride to the airport. I am here to say that American taxi merits 5 star rating.

Called an hour and a half in advance. Quoted 30-40 minutes. Still not here. Not courteous enough to call back. Called to check on status. Hung up. Didn't call back.

I would like to express my appreciation through this review because I was out last weekend with my friends on Broad street -Augusta. At the end of the night ,we just took a cab without knowing the actual taxicab company that drove us home. I lost my phone and wallet but couldn't figure out where but luckily the cab driver called and brought them to my house with everything in it. That's really a cool cab company to reckon with and I hope the company keeps that driver forever

When Yellow Cab failed me (no show) I called American Cab, they were there in 5 minutes. Driver was exceptional. Next time in Augusta, they will be the only one I call.

I was very disappointed to be told they did not service 30906 at night. Luckily I was able to find another company to help but still why advertise to servicing Augusta 24 hours when they really mean only certain areas? False advertising is a horrible way to build a reputation and not only will I not be using this service again but neither will my military friends who were astounded that the company they referred did this. More than that they already decided they will be passing the word to others in Ft Gordon community.

What a great company! Unknowingly I left my purse in the cab , and woke up to a voicemail of the cab driver who managed to find my number, and even dropped my purse off at the apartment where I was staying. Was very friendly and patient and quick to take us where we needed to go, highly recommend them!

I used the company and was highly impressed at the response on time and with good fare

No one wants to get involved in other people's family feud.I was told that the customer's wife was threatening the company not to come for her husband because she didnt want him to travel .I wouldnt go pick him up either not for any amount of money,No one wants to get shot at especially by a jealous wife.

I called the number and was surprised to see the driver within 10 minutes .I will recommend the company to my friends.Very unusal of taxi service around Augusta GA.

When I called for taxi,This was the only taxi that responded in time and it was very neat and courteous.Good enough

OK..This is what I will tell my customers about you...Not bad.......Im not easy to please but you aint bad at all or may be I should just say.....YOUR VERY GOOD at what you do.OK I'll admit to the fact that you are good enough for the service you give my customers .I didnt want to give you 5 of 5 ratings but I had no choice because Ive tried other companies around here and you happened to surpass them with your quality of service..

Its another quality service that deserves a 5 of 5 ratings.This is what taxi service should be----on time when needed and helping the best way they can when the price seems too much for the customer.

Okay----You guys want some ratings,so you get one.You are there on time when i need you,you are honest and intelligent--- may be thats too much for cab drivers but we need people like that to make the industry look more intellectually inclined.So you get 5/5 from me

There are not a whole lot of trusted taxi services these days but for some reason this is still one of the few reliable companies Ive used around Augusta GA area .I travel a lot and need someone to be there when I need them.So far for over 15 times already,I haven't been disappointed yet.Good job
