Goin' Postal

I went in to Goin' Postal in Atco NJ to overnight some paperwork (.2lbs). I came in with a $100 dollar bill. She said she did not have change to give me so I went to the car to get my credit card. When I got back in line I see a man in front of me get change for a $20, a ten and some ones. Ok maybe she didnt want the $100 because she couldnt use it to give back out as change. Understandable. SO. I ask for my paperwork to be overnighted. She gave me UPS Next Day Air @ $87.94!! (Still no change even tho it was only ten dollars and some change.)Not happy but had to have the paperwork delivered by the next day. I left there not a happy camper! I get home and call my husband to tell him about the outrageous cost. He was outraged as he had just paid $35.50 to overnighted the same paperwork to the same place two days before. (NC, not very far). Let me add. Where he shipped from was farther from N.C.

Very disappointed! Wont be going back and if your smart you wont either.

After years of utilizing Going Postal for my shipping needs, I am appalled to discover the incompetence and horrific practices of this company. I spent over $40 to ship a package, selecting 2-day delivery, as it was imperative that the package be received in a timely manner. When the package was not received at the scheduled time, I called Going Postal to inquire about the delivery. As it turns out, one of the Going Postal employees made a mistake and did not correctly ship my package, despite charging me for the specified shipping. Because of this, the package will arrive at a later day, spoiling the time-sensitive, perishable items. Even after admitting they were at fault for the error, Going Postal refused to do anything. Just as a reference, the difference in shipping costs between the delivery I intended and the delivery I will receive will be about $30. Does it not seem fair that the company reimburse the shipping cost? Why should I be charged the full amount when the services I paid for were not upheld? For the service I received (delayed shipping), I paid $30 more than the actual cost. This company lacks the integrity to accept responsibility for the incompetent acts of their employees. It is because of this blatant error, waste of my money, and poor customer service that I will never return to Going Postal.
