My nail tech seemed very inexperienced. She also checked her phone and sent texts while doing my feet and never changed her gloves. She dropped a tool and was about to use it when I stopped her and requested another. She missed a few steps, only pushed my cuticles back, didn't clip the excess. She was also loudly speaking with another employee about the employees nails. I did not feel like I was be given a service, especially one I was paying for. This is not my first time here. It is usually an okay experience. The atmosphere isn't great, there are a few rude, loud employees that make me cringe. One even came in and said "I'm not high." Cannot relax with that. This will be my last time to ever come here.
I was there for 4 hours .. And 3 of them were spent just sitting there waiting for someone to do my nails. People that came in to the shop after me and still got there nails done before me. And after all that waiting they still didnt look as good as i wanted them to ..
I've been sitting here for over an hour maybe longer. One tech started my nails then stopped moved to the next table and said she had an appointment. This is highly unprofessional and the wait is ridiculous. This is my usual salon but I guess I need to find another place that makes me a priority.
7-15-15 my daughter and I decided to try a salon in our new area we moved to. My daughter and I both went for fill ins. after they looked at my daughters nails they suggested only a color change. ( her nails only 1.5 weeks along) (mine 2.5) already knew that I would need fill ins and one replacement. proceeding on she tried to tell me I needed a new set..I know my nails (having been a Lic. nail tech for 25 + years) said no just a fill in and replacement. she then again said you sure no new set.. I told her if you are not comfortable doing my nails I will pay fro whats done and go elsewhere.(should have) she said no i can do your nails and then started to very roughly chip away at my edges gritting teeth and all. already thinking if I should stay or not trying to give the benefit of the doubt continued to stay.. and then the drill came out and started okay but then was drilling into my own nail bed to the point of burning me and alot of pain. i asked her twice to becareful it was hurting she kept saying she going to fix nails..at that point the next burn I said please let me pay for what we have done and I will go. she kept saying no i do nails to which i replied no i would like to go now and please let me pay for what we have had done. another lady said no let me get I think she said Anna..(?) and I said no thank you I'm leaving...I am a nail tech and I know what is to be done and what is not supposed to be done or hurt. which I then looked at my daughters color change and it was horrible..bubbled polished the ends looked like they slapped it on and left it globbed. I was very upset at that time but still willing to pay for what I had done. they proceeded to charge me $8.00 for my daughters color change and $8.00 for basically ruining a 2.5 week set of nails... after we left my daughter called back just to see what they charge for a color change and they told her $5.00 hmmm....where did the $8.00 come in??...I'm sure they have very many happy customers and in due time may try again to be fair it could have been a one time incident ..but only if you want to wait while a couple ladies finish there phone calls or have your tech sit down in front of you to do your nails and then spend the first 10 minutes playing with her phone would i recommend this place.
Leigh and Kim have done my nails and are awesome! They have added a hair stylist named Kevin. This guy knows his stuff!!! If you are looking for someone that can tell you what hair looks good for your face and body type then Kevin is your man. Every time I walk in and see his finished look on someone I am "Wowed!!" If you don't want to look like granny, soccer mom or you still have that 80s look go see Kevin. You won't be disappointed.
I love this nail salon! They are always super nice and give great pedicures and manicures!
Quoted me. Price of $23 for my fill and changing color on toes. You think that's a great deal! But no! I showed them a picture of the way I wanted my nails to look and they quoted $23. After doing my toes and putting acrylic on my nails the lady says "ok, it's going to cost you $5 more for every nail to do it like that in picture" I said, "woah woah woah... You told me $23." Would not do the nails for original quoted price and wouldn't remove the polish off my toes that no longer would match bc I couldn't afford a $50 price increase. Forced me to pay the full $23 even though they didn't even paint my fingernails and the sides of my toenails weren't even all gotten. Terrible service.
