General Info
I believe that it is important to have a safe space to process experiences and feelings, since healing and recovery can be a difficult journey to experience alone. Working from a trauma-informed lens, I collaborate with clients to develop their own unique treatment plan so that they can achieve their goals and improve daily functioning. I believe it's important to help support clients on their path to discover their own personal insights, build self-compassion, and find peace. I also believe in looking at a person as a whole, and understanding that an individuals situation and environment can have a significant impact on their mental health. In addition to consistently using a trauma informed approach, I also use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am capable of using other modalities based on each individual's needs.
