Shawis Tattoo

Okay so I've personally known Benny Shaw since we were kids and have been inside his germ-infested, dusty, poorly lit tattoo joint a few times watching some poor bastards getting tattooed by both he and his dad. I also know several of his former clients and have seen the atrocious work he's done. Basically this is a place you go if you're short on money and want to trade beer or food stamps for work. Both he and his dad are usually drunk by 2 pm. The guy is a filthy alcoholic and I wouldn't take my worst enemy into this shop to get any sort of work done. There is no depth to any of his art and I have serious concerns about health practices since Benny's place of living (usually a nearby motel) is equally as disgusting as this dirty tattoo joint. Are they even still in business? I think maybe some poor guy fresh off a shrimp boat might wander in for a cheap tattoo but other than that you're out of your mind to let these people touch you. Can anyone say backwoods, hillbilly, ex-convict? Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place unless you're looking for some contacts to buy weed or drugs - you might strike gold there. I wish there were a negative rating to give this place. The Shaws are just gross.

I walked into this dive and immediately left it. The man working there said he had to finish up his beer before he got on my tattoo, needless to say I wasn't interested also in the fact there was a dog running loose inside of the place, I'm no expert , but I'm learning where and where not to go and this is not a place you should go if you want a nice clean experience.
