General Info: Whatever your life's challenge: depression, anxiety, stress, separation, divorce or relationship issues (including domestic abuse and domestic abuse survivors), weight and self-esteem issues, or family issues ranging from communication to just getting along, I will help get you on the right path. As a Licensed Professional Counselor I use a no-nonsense, down-to-earth approach when working with my patients. You and I will meet in a comfortable, casual setting. Together, we will tailor a treatment program which will address your specific needs using proven treatment methods such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT concentrates on finding, understanding, and then changing certain patterns of thinking and/or behavior. You will be actively involved in your healing process and learn skills that will be useful across several areas of your life. CBT typically involves some "homework" assignments which we will then use in your therapy sessions. Patients find these highly rewarding, as they begin to see improvement clearly and quickly.
