- David A. Toivonen, MD, joined Hand to Shoulder Center of Wisconsin in 1995. He is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with a Subspecialty Certification in Surgery of the Hand. He treats disorders of the upper extremity, including hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries and conditions. Dr. Toivonen has a special interest in wrist arthroscopy and the orthopaedic treatment of wrist disorders.
