I lived at Structured Living for many months before my incarceration and I returned upon my parole. This place has basically saved my life. I am starting over with nothing and the support I recieve from Divinder and the recovery community is immeasurable. If you are REALLY serious about changing your life and put the effort in this place is a great way to start.

I have been at structured living LLC for 3 months and having great experience, rent very affordable very nice town house all amme nties included, walking distance of two church's that hold meetings everyday. I have a great house manager and Davinder the guy who runs it who runs it is very nice and flexoble. My life has gotten dramaticly better since I've been there in a short time. Earlier this year I posted a negative bc I was angry and still using and asked to leave so bc of my bad choices I blamed a place that was trying to help me

I am writing this review as a step father of a wonerful young daughter who has been to more than a few drug rehab programs.
She has spent an year with Structured Living LLC's facility in Ann Arbor.

In the beginning, I was very disheartened as she was evicted for having failed a drug test. Based on her being honest for having used, she was made to leave for two weeks as a "consequence" while being put as number one on their waiting list. Luckily, just as her two weeks ended, a bed opened up and she returned after testing clean but was subjected to strickter conditions and scrutiny that eventually served her well.

I have learnt that residents who are "honest" are provided with a much wider margin of latitude. According to the manager "we are not here to punish anyone into recovery nor can anyone be forced to sustain it. Without honesty, recovery becomes a lost cause" . I agree.

My daughter is nearly one year clean today.. Thanks to their Structured Living's compassionate approach

Helpful, understanding and committed. If they do think that you or your loved one needs a special kind of treatment, these guys will not hesitate to pick up the phone and make the call.

My daughter who has been dual diagnozed including eating disorders along with a personalty one landed at their house after having spent months and thousands of dollars at "rehabs" who did not know what they were doing and just kept her for our money.

Soon upon meeting us, Mr. Singh could actually tell to an amazing degree of accuracy what our daughter was going through. He was visibly empathetic towards our daughter and unlike others did not make us feel uncomfortable. His passion and force did convince us that he truly cared and wanted to help. And help he did.

He made an appointment with someone in Denver CO who does not take our insurance but never hesitated to treat our daughter nor has ever mentioned about it. Mr Singh had sent us with a surety that she will get better. She actually has.

This guy is plugged in to resources that an average person cannot even comprehend.

Here in Dubai and elsewhere. I have seen him getting unbelievable things done merely on a phone for the benefit[s] of others.

Besides helping those with alcohol that is forbidden in our strict religion, Davinder Singh is a deal maker at the highest levels. His far reaching influence and connections are a mystery to me. Almost as if he has GOD by his side.

Based on my personal & first hand experience, all should know that this is a solid, transparent "giveback" initiative, backed by a very committed and an unbelievably resourceful person. Mr.Davinder Singh.

A couple of month earlier this year, my son and his wife had gone on a sober vacation to one of their places overseas. While there, they inadvertently got themselves in an unexpected legal mess that would not only have cost them the vacation but perhaps landed them in jail. In shock, I did not know what to do and called Mr. Singh for help. Though he tried to calm me by assuring that he would take care of the situation promptly, I must confess I was not to be comforted by what I then considered “lip sympathy”. I was plagued by doubts that he could do anything, especially on short notice. How could anyone possibly change the outcome of a real bad situation overseas in a European country , from sitting here in the USA. Even my attorneys were actually suggesting that I should consider taking a flight across the ocean to be there for my son & his wife to arrange an effective legal defense.

Guess what !!.... who would have thought that this very private person did know what he was talking about when he said “not to worry”. I do not know what he did or whom he called but charges against both my son and my daughter-in-law were withdrawn the very same day. I just could not believe our good luck.. As a matter of fact, the authorities rendered their apologies. Mr. Singh not only turned down my offer for payment to cover any expenses that he did incur, he further asked me to not to advertise the event and think no more of it which of course was not possible. Now, I am writing this as my meager token of my profound obligation to him and also to let others who may care to know that this person is unique and his passion and commitment to the services he backs are unprecedented. Do not go by any loose talk or irresponsible negative comments that some may have to say against Structured Living because you would be doing so at your own cost and perhaps robbing yourself or a loved one of an opportunity to avail of his commitment. For commitment with no expectations in return is a nearly dead trait in today's world by any measures !!

I am a single parent of a wonderful 21 years son who developed an addiction to heroin as he fell into bad company since I could not be with him enough, especially during holidays.

After being in and out of three rehabs in as many years, he now is a resident at one of Structured Living's sober homes in Ann Arbor, MI. He went there directly after 90 days stint at a prestigious treatment center in CO.

My son has been at the sober house since November 2013. Before I could secure a bed for him, I was made to accept one particular condition and that was not to give the car keys to my son. Despite him throwing a tantrum and all devices he had used to get his way previously at other places, these guys just would not give in. I am glad that they stuck to their guns and to my amusement, my son concurs and sees thhe wisdom through their firm stance.

I would refer these houses to anyone who is willing to live by the rules. The gentleman behind this whole operation is supposedly independently wealthy and in recovery since long. These two facts alone sets these houses apart from others. But how was I to know that giving a car to my child, early in recovery was not a good idea as no one at the previous sober facilities had told me anything like it.

We need more "independent" and committed places like this for the well being of our children.

Friendly, comfortable but strict. Consider these house ONLY if you are serious about your recovery and willing to follow their simple rules or you will not be staying for long and probably end up losing your money.

I have been here for nearly an year, the longest I have stayed sober. Hopefully, I will keep on doing what I am supposed to and make myself and my family proud

This place saved my life. What else more can I say!

There are people who talk negative or bad bad mouth their services but you will find that all of them to the last person either has been kicked out for using or not following the simple rules.

Unfortunately, some naive new comers take the "gossip" among the disgruntled seriously and actually rob themselves of an opportunity to benefit from a good sober living environment.

My son has been at their sober home for the past eight months.

Once in a while, I do come across a “review” that flies in face of our personal experience(s) with S.Living. Allow me to add that it is almost granted that whenever a resident is asked to leave for either using, indulging in unruly behavior, untidiness or being 'toxic" to the house, he or she always blames the facility or its managers. ALWAYS. It is the nature of the disease that does the talking and not the resident(s). In some cases, the parents of these residents tend to believe every word of their son or daughter being evicted as a GOSPEL TRUTH. Ever wonder why addiction is called a "Family Disease"??!

It is SAD when an irate parent, in the heat of the moment and because of genuine frustration, love for their child and simmering unmanageability of the overall situation vents out and decides to write against the easiest target –Structured Living . Their actions end up short changing their kids.

These guys have no problem with finances. What I am trying to say is that many such servises, when it comes to evicting a resident go easy or think twice because of loosing revenue.

Not Structured Living.

These guys have a solid financial backing which allows them to be strict at all operations in USA, UK & Spain.

I have learnt that SL Spain now has a liaison with the Medical City in Dubai

Theit services are HEAVILY SUBSIDIZED BY A SOURCE THAT I AM NOT PRIVY TO.. The person behind this organization believes in practicing DHARMA - path of righteousness and be a KARMA YOGI - one that embraces selfless acts of giving. Both these practices are fundamental and common among Buddhism, Hinduism and Sikhism as well in Christianity -Just remember St. Francis of Assisi or mother Teresa !!

You can expect a kind of service that is committed and recovery friendly. Suggestion: Go to this place ONLY if you yourself are committed and stay humble and teachable to better your lot through sobriety.

I have been in their sober hou...

I have been in their sober house for women for seven months now and I find the place comfortable and very modestly priced. We have a resident house manager and a female supervisor who visits at random or comes in whenever something important crops up.

Those who are serious make it. I am seeing it happen. There are a few bad apples who come in and mess the house but are evicted.

The person behind the initiative is supposedly wealthy, is himself is a recovering alcoholic and kind of "stays away" from the females but gets daily briefs from the managers. Smart of him!

I & my wife have had issues with Alcohol and our sobriety dates fall within a week of each other’s. I remember visiting their sober vacation joint in Spain in the winter of 2012 to celebrate our first sober anniversaries together.

My wife is Spanish. She is fluent in Spanish while I can hardly speak the language. We were there for ten days and had a great time. We were well taken care of under the watchful eyes of our host monitor.. Mr Singh arranged for a couple of local senior officials to come visit us to offer any help if needed. All this came as a pleasant surprise and shows how much he cared for us.

During our full stay the weather was heavenly. We had a "cherry picked" water front accommodation in a secure location and in close proximity to a pristine beach & sand dunes. Lot of fun activities on water, beach and sand . Great food and enchanting nights did leave us with cherished memories of our first ever sober vacation, which we share with others whenever we can. Like now!

I am 25 & my problem is alcohol and oxy. I have chased sobriety for the last 15 years. The longest I ever stayed clean was 221 days exactly last year when I was in the county jail for my probation violation. Luckily, my social worker arranged for me to come to Structured Living upon my release on July 18th, 2015., and I am clean till today – for nearly 1 year...Thanks to the healing structure and magic of group support at my sober home.

Within first month , Structured Living helped obtain a Bridge Card for free groceries and health insurance for all my medical needs for free. I later learnt that till my benefits kicked in, tab for my food etc was picked by the founder of these 10 homes.

Wish there were more like him. He accompanied me on my first visit to the Doctor so I did not miss anything.

Folks, if you or a loved one need help for addiction, I BEG you to contact Structured Living and benefit from their commitment, especially of the founder. It is almost sacred!!.

Considerate and Mindful.I judge any enterprise or service by the way they listen to you and pay attention to your individual needs.
At Structured Living, especially the person in Davinder Singh, its founder, is an excellent listener, spend own money and treats everyone as a special individual. He makes you feel like a million dollars…like you are WANTED!! Trust that is why some who have benefited through their services swear that D has a "healing touch". Some hate him for strictness. His caring attitude makes all the difference. This uniquely special culture has filtered down and sets Structured Living apart and in a league of their own.
I will recommend these places without a hitch or any doubt to anyone seeking a quality sober aftercare or post rehab transitional living.

These houses have always come to my rescue whenever I have relapsed. I do not wish anyone to follow my path of on and off recovery but in case you need or are seeking a sober transitional housing, give these guys a call.

They have a no-refund-but-credit-only policy and I have always ended up using my credit. This time, I am "on the wagon" for the past couple of months and intend to stay that way for a long, long time. I mean forever. I am sick of getting sick and frankly, these guys have just about had it with me. I am surprised they even let me return this last time. Guess it is my good behavior during my past stays with them as I have seen others not allowed to return.

I have been to almost all sober homes in this area and find this place the most supportive and comforting.

I am pushing 50 and have been living at Structured Living since September 2013. This is the first time I have been sober for such a long period. Ever!!

Though I was reluctant to try living in a sober home with five other guys, I can now sincerely say that without Structured Living, I would not have been able to maintain my sobriety. Period. Fellowship of my house mates, support from the recovering community and especially the personal mentoring from the founder of this establishment, Mr. Singh, have been the key factors in my recovery.

Despite some personal challenges that I have had to overcome, my progress here has been steady and improvement in my physical and emotional health has given me a new lease on life. I am so grateful for all the support I have received from the people at Structured Living and giving me the opportunity to start my life over again and learn to live with hope, optimism and serenity.

I highly recommend these sober homes to anyone who is serious about getting and staying drug and alcohol free. There is no better place and city to make a new beginning. This place gives you the foundation and a stable environment that you need to be successful in recovery.
