Dr. Katz chose a career in medicine because she had several surgeries when she was younger and enjoys science. She found medicine to be her passion. Dr. Katz chose family medicine because she wanted a specialty that allowed her to create relationships with patients and loves the variety of patients she gets to see. To her, the most rewarding thing about being a doctor is getting to make people feel better. The best piece of advice Dr. Katz has for patients is to get regular checkups for preventive care.
