Absolute worst experience attempting to redeem an oil change I have ever had. Ive been here for almost two hours now and I can see my car still parked, they have yet to bring it into the service center. When I asked for an estimate on time and told them that I had a 5 oclock appointment that I've already missed they said I think its inside now. I still have to pick up my family before 6, I probably won't make it in time. you think they'll pay the ten dollar late pickup fee for me? or let me retake my midterm I hurried through to get here? unless u have at least a few hours to waste do not bring your car here for service.

I took my new used 03 Kia Sore...

I took my new used 03 Kia Sorento to the Kia dealer here in town because the check engine light came on. Though the employee- Daniel- was very friendly and informative, I have issues with their overall service. They offered to take a look at my brakes and spark plugs (that I mentioned I would replace myself) and engine to gauge how they were when I told them I had just bought the car used.



1) Check engine light = recalls that were easily fixed

2) They claimed my spark plugs were completely shot and wanted $600+ to replace them knowing that I said I would do that myself (They were already IN the car and simply had to replace them and they wanted that much?)

3) When I got home I got to work on my spark plugs- There was nothing

with them whatsoever.



I’m shocked- as a dealer they need to be more upstanding than what I experienced. If I didn’t know anything about cars I would have been out $700+ to fix very simple (and ended up not being necessary) problems. I’ll pay the money for things I cannot do myself but I do not want to be taken advantage of or manipulated.

Damaged my Jeep

I brought my Jeep in to have it detailed ($100). When I picked it up, I discovered that the lenses on BOTH my fog lights were comepletely gone. When I complained, I was told by Moises Gonzales (service dept. manager?) that the detailer had informed the service department flunkie that when he went to wipe "it", the lens just fell off. What, really? It just fell off? Okay, what about the other one? And why wasn't I informed? Well, the flunkie "forgot" to tell me... he didn't think it was a big deal when the detailer told him about it. I do think it's a big deal, considering Moises gave a quote of about $150 to replace them... which can't be right if ONE light is $85. AND they want to charge labor. This is a 2008 Jeep with 6500 miles on it, city-driven only, absolutely no scratches or other damage to the bumper or recessed light compartments. There is no explanation for the damaged lights other than that they broke them while they were washing it. I'm thoroughly disgusted with the situation... I suppose they figure since they're the only Jeep dealer in town customers have to put up with their reprehensible practices. Guess again... I'm taking my $600-$1000 per year worth of services somewhere else. I'll trade that Jeep in for a freaking recalled Toyota before I'll go back to Lithia.

Worst dealer I've ever been to

Heard an add on the radio for their own version of the government "cash for clunkers" program. Went to check out the trade in on my truck. Really wasn't expecting much but was astounded by their offer of $200. and no, i didn't forget a zero. The truck was in good condition with about 3k worth of new work and low blue book at about 4k. all in all, I had close to 7k into the truck. Couldn't believe it. respond to a radio ad for "best trade in value in town" and "up to 4,500 for your clunker" and find the truth to be an extremely insulting $200 offer. Long story short, scam artists reside there. I wish i could rate them in negative stars
