General Info: Interpreter Referral Line, also known as IRL, provides interpreter services to individuals with deafness in Anchorage in Arkansas. Operational since 1980, it offers transliteration solutions and utilizes American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters. The center provides interpreters for a variety of settings, such as vocational rehabilitation, counseling, law enforcement and job interviews. Interpreter Referral Line is a part of The Arc of Anchorage, which is a private, nonprofit organization. The parent organization serves children and adults with developmental disabilities and behavioral health issues. It provides substance abuse treatment programs. The Arc of Anchorage also offers nursing services and several recreational activities.
