Molly Maid

I just can’t believe it!! My worst fears about hiring a company to clean my home have materialized. In fact, it was worse than I ever imagined. I have been reluctant to have my house cleaned because I don’t want anything broken, but I decided to hire Molly Maid because the owner assured me they would repair any damage done to my home and not to worry because his crew is honest and very careful. That is so NOT TRUE!! They have only cleaned my house 5 times and during that time they chipped my paint and drywall twice, broke my mother's crystal vase, and left a two inch long gouge on a chair in my living room. I fixed the drywall myself, twice. They offered to replace my vase, but really how could they? It will never be from my mother. But what really made me mad is they sent an unqualified person to repair my gouged chair. Their "quality control person" came twice but the chair still looks repaired. To make matters worse, their response was they don’t know how “they” could have damaged the chair, alluding that the chair was probably already scratched. My husband and I are the only two people living in the house and the chair is in my living room that we never use. Of course, I reminded the owner that they didn’t notice the times they chipped my walls either; naturally there was no comment when I pointed that out. Their solution was to give me $50.00 for the vase and another $50.00 for the chair. However, I’m insisting they fix my chair correctly. I feel I am entitled to have my chair repaired properly. The owner even had the nerve to say that I am costing him money. Not even a thought about the damage done to my home only his loss of money. Now I am probably going to have to get my chair repaired and take Molly Maid to court, forcing them to stand up to their own promises. I don’t even know what to do about my mother’s vase, due its sentimental value. I would not recommend them to anyone because they do not stand behind their work. In fact, I will do my best to alert my friends, family, and neighbors to their deceptive business practices so other people won't have to experience a Molly Maid nightmare!
