2. Da Vi Nails
I went in several weeks ago to get new set of nails, I had older solar nails that were grown out. Tracy said she could get them off, I bleed on 1 finger and the new set looked good. I went in again a couple weeks later to get mani &pedi, I asked for them to soak them off so they got my feet in …
8. Alvin Nails
I have to reshape and reprint my nails myself after the awful experience I had here. I asked for heart tips and they laughed and talked about me to each other. After just telling them to paint it solid because they couldn't handle a simple design, the women made the polish too thick and ugly.
22. Us Nail Salon
They are an amazing nail salon. Our family has been going to US Nail Salon for many years. They are completely clean from the restroom to the pedicure station. The staff could not be more friendly and they all give over 150%. From someone who is very picky, they are our only place to go. US Nail…
Very professional and therapeutic when it comes to a deep tissue massage. John always knows exactly where the problem is and gives me immediate relief when I'm in severe neck and back pain.
Shear Pleasure has been my salon of choice for more than 20 years. The women there consistently give terrific haircuts. They will work with you to give you the style you want or adjust the style to suit your hair type. Colorists are also good; I tried color for a year or two, but it wasn't fo…
I have been going here at least every 2 months since they opened. They asked me today "have you been here before? Why, yes. 3 weeks ago. I have not been treated so poorly before, but then I never went on a Saturday before. The girl doing my nails was very rough. She actually hurt me wh…
30. Kt Nails II
I have been having KT Nails do my nails since 2009, they are wonderful and work by either appointment or walk-in. Many great ladies here, not just one that someone would feel comfortable with tipping. Lindsey and Lisa are my favorites. This place also does wonderful eyebrow waxing!!!!
Please don't go to this place the ppl do not live up to they promise. I went in for service one week ago on a Saturday I got shellac mainicure and Three day later my polish stated chipping - this is the polish that they promise you that will last two weeks before another refill. I contacted the manager and let her know that Annie did my nails and she told me to come back in for a do over - I explained to her that I work and can come on my off day and she told me that's fine - Went in today and was told that I could not get the service she promised- and was yelled at by a guy employer don't know his name- i am a grown woman and I don't tolerate getting yelled at by anyone and I will be filing charges but that is another issue. Pleased don't give this place your business because they don't stick to they word and poor customer service.
Sitting here waiting for them to open, and it's well past the time they are supposed to be open. Seems lazy, going somewhere else.
I love Lexor Nails I got a mani, pedi and eye brows done and I Love the fact they make sure everything is good before you leave.Annie does the best eye brows will never go anywhere else.
Have been here probably 7 times and every time it has gotten worse and worse. Went today my pedicure looks HORRIBLE. I had to agrue with the guy to get my ingrown toe nails out. He rushed thru my entire pedicure to try to help another lady (I guess he thought her tip was going to be bigger). I had to ask him to put clear coat on my white tips he half way did it the first time. It took him a while maybe 15 minuets to do my entire pedicure. Worst service I have ever had. My niece got her fingers painted and they look awful too. My sister got her toes done and they were ok nothing great. I can tell you I will never be back. We go once a month and get our toes done and have a big wedding party going pretty soon. I know we will go somewhere else.
I had a fill, 2 repairs and a pedicure. Less than 24 hrs 2 nails broke. I went in within the next few days the same evening I went in for repairs 3 more customers came in for repairs. Less than 24 hrs after that 1 more broke. I went in to get it repaired, the way they act as if I did something wrong. This is the rudest salon I've ever been in, just be warned. The over book clients then have you wait by soaking your feet so you feel as though you can't leave. Not one person is friendly or speaks, I realize they don't make money if customers have to keep coming back. There are other salons to go to and not be treated badly or rude. HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES!
I went in several weeks ago to get new set of nails, I had older solar nails that were grown out. Tracy said she could get them off, I bleed on 1 finger and the new set looked good. I went in again a couple weeks later to get mani &pedi, I asked for them to soak them off so they got my feet in the water and Tracy said the man (her husband I think) was great getting the old ones off, well he cut my pinky and my thumb on both sides and he ripped my natural thumb nail down below the skin line, they were both bleeding still my feet were in water, the other lady finally finished my pedi, and Tracy started putting on the nails, she put them on over the dried blood and very far down on my own nails I guess to try to cover the blood, they are very thick and look dirty because of the dry blood underneath, it was two and a half hours of torture! I will never go back there again. it was a nightmare!!!
I have gone to Pro Nails & Spa hand full of times just to paint my nails, they've always been average (if even that). However the most recent time I went, 5/12/15, I had an awful experience. I asked to get shellac for prom, I simply wanted black. When I told the man what i wanted, he said no and that I need to choose another color to make it easier on him. I refused to change my colors, he sighed, rolled his eyes and said whatever. While painting the first nail i asked him if he could paint one nail red, he then yelled at me and said no, I already choose black and he's not doing it over. It being my one pinky finger that was completed. He continued yelling at me explaining that he was not going to change it. I just sat there and put up with his nonsense for the remainder of the appointnent. I always thought this place was over priced for the quality ($34 for shellac & $46 for acrylic), now I know the place isn't even worth thinking about visiting. If you would like a great nail salon in Alvin, I suggest you try C.T. Nails located in the strip mall next to Baytown Seafood on HW 35 North. They are always polite, never over priced ($23 for shellac & $25 for acrylic) and they give you what you want.
I have been to this salon more than once and previously had pretty decent experiences. I went today (4/28/15) to receive a pedicure and a full set. I sat down at 12:45pm and waited for about 30 minutes with my feet in water before anybody started to even work on me. I told them I brought my own polish and just wanted a regular pedicure. The pedicure went okay with her painting MY gel polish (color and gel top coat), I say "okay" because in between painting my toes she was doing someone else's gel nails as well but I'm a patient person so I understood. Nevertheless, she finished my pedicure and then moved me to the nail area so another lady could do my full set. I asked for acrylics with tips and my gel polish with design. I only walked out with a full set with no polish because the lady could not do my design with gel polish. I told her that I had gotten that design before but she said she couldn't so I understood AGAIN. I got up to pay and was told my total was $65 dollars! For what I asked she said my pedicure was $23, gel polish paint was $12 and my full set was $30. I would've had absolutely no problem with paying for my pedicure and full set but to pay for them to paint my nails with MY gel polish was $12?! Completely ridiculous! I argued with the lady about it and the lady who did my toes chimed in that it was originally $15 and that she had already given me a $3 discount. I ended up leaving this nail salon at around 3pm and paying $63! I WILL NEVER again give my business to this salon and would not recommend anyone go here. I don't care about paying $63 but for me to pay that and not get what I wanted and be charged to use my OWN products?! Good riddance!
I went there to get my eyebrows waxed and there was 10 min wait which I didn't mind much. As soon as we went to the back room I told the lady how I didn't want my eyebrows thin. I have full eyebrows and like them that way i just like to clean them up. She cut me off and told me to lay on the bed. I tried to tell her again how i wanted them but she just said ok. She asked me where i went to last and I said tulips and she rudely kept asking me repeatedly where. Its like she wasnt listening the 1st time. She said they didnt do my eyebrows good which I didnt comment on because they did do them the way I liked. I did notice when she was doing them she took her time and I thought she was going to do a good job but when she was finally done it was horrible. It was exactly the opposite of what I told her to do! Its like she didnt listen to me at all! She made them thin and on top of that she took off part of my inner left eyebrow completely! Thats the eyebrow where I have hair growing up instead on the sides. What made me mad was that She argued with me saying that it was the last persons fault they messed up my eyebrows! Well at least Tulips do what I ask of them. I dont understand these ladies that do eyebrows horribly when their eyebrows are full and grow in different directions just like mine and theirs are perfect! The worst thing was she farted and laughed about it! Most unprofessional lady I had to deal with ever. She still argued with me so I walked out not bothering to ask for a lip wax. She even charged me the full price as well!
