        Alf Engen Ski School, a part of the Alta Ski Area, offers classes in skiing skills for children and adults. The school operates the Ski Adventure Program for children between the ages of 4 and 12. It also offers private instruction programs, as well as registration services. The school helps students to develop skills for improving turns. Alf Engen Ski School organizes moguls, powder and all mountain workshops. The school also offers classes for the development of parallel turning skills. In addition, it organizes Alta Performance Ski and Teen Freeride camps. Alf Engen Ski School operates the JR Explorers (JRX) program.
