Interstate Van Lines

I have moved several times in the past and have had several different moving companies but Interstate Van Lines is clearly the best above the rest. The movers actually arrived on time, did their job perfectly and were nice to work with. Their rate was also actually really reasonable. Great movers!

My family was relocated from New York to South Carolina. Last week was totally dedicated to the process, but the move was done in three short days. Within one week I managed to book them and completely move my household without breaks. I loved how easy to work with them was.

Interstate Van Lines moved my family from New Jersey to Georgia in 3 days. We had a splendid service, completed with no major obstacles. The great men from this company did their job efficiently. I want to thank them for their affordable prices.

From the last few days I was very worried because we bought a new house and everything was needed to be moved there. It was a pretty big task. Then an idea came in my mind to hire a moving company. So we hired Interstate Van Lines. Their work strategy was totally different from the other moving companies as we had some experience with others. They handled everything with great care. Even they helped us to decorate my new apartment too. They were careful with my every single furniture. I am happy with their service.

this moving company was very good to me, the picked up my stuff on time and delivered it on it. the sales man was nice too.

This company did so good, we all stayed calm, had good communication skills and was an overall great company, i will have every one i know use them if they need a mover. im so happy i picked them.

The movers who moved me were Edward, John, Patrick and Daniel. They were very professional, efficient and courteous. My most of the furniture was really heavy and large and they handled them carefully without any complaints or damage. It was a very smooth and easy move and I will surely use their service again in the future!

I had no problem moving all my smaller items by myself. I just didn't have the help or the muscle to move my large items. These guys were my salvation for that, they brought the muscle and the truck. Sure I could of took my truck, but with theirs I was able to move everything at once. Plus, they even unloaded for me which was great. Sometimes it does pay to have some paid muscle and in this situation it was!

Had a fabulous experience with Interstate Van Lines when I moved. The movers came on time and moved my furniture quickly to my new apartment. The whole moving process took only four hours. The movers were really nice, personable and helped with everything. This was a great experience and if I have to move again I will obviously contact Interstate van lines as my first choice!

Dealing with this company was horrible. No communication once our belongings were on the truck. It started out fine with excellent communication from Jay ... But WOW. Something is terribly wrong within dispatch and the operations of this company. I had no idea what I owed after they tacked on additional charges and they required CASH or postal money order!!! I couldn't get anyone to send me a copy of the bill or let me pay by credit card. Do not use them unless you truly don't care about where your belongings are. The movers on the truck were fine. A nightmare moving my 75 year old Mom from SC home to VT!!!

Gouged the price AFTER they had all of our items loaded. I gave a VERY thorough description of my items to the salesman (Jay) including photos and a map of the delivery site. They get there and immediately charge us an additional $150 for the additional feet from door to truck. I had read the contract and previously discussed with Jay but nothing we could do with the movers so I said ok. After they get ALL of our items loaded they let us know it was going to be more than $1000 more than the original quote. We did not add any additional items and they were 250 sq ft off on the quote. How can they possibly have estimated that far off unless they were just frying to undercut to get the deal. The other issue is this was a small moving truck with lines drawn on, not the semi we were promised. I do not believe our items took up 1.5 times the space from the quote. We had local companies come out and actually view our items that came in lower than this. I am very disappointed and would NEVER recommend them. One positive I do want to mention is that the movers were very thorough, careful, and pleasant. I wish we could have worked directly with them and avoided Interstate Van Lines all together.

We have moved several times & this was our 2nd time using a moving company. We were hesitant to use a moving company after a previous bad experience. I got my quote from Jay & explained our 1st experience & why I was hesitant. I wanted to ensure we had enough space quoted for the move so when the movers arrived at pick up I wasn't being told I needed to buy more & more space like what had happened to us in the past. Jay assured me over & over we had more than enough room, he even quoted me 5% over & I would more than likely get money back. Moving day came & the movers were supposed to come between 12-2pm & we got a call around 12p to say they were still in NYC doing a job & would be late. We got another call around 3pm that they just finished up & on the way to our house 3+ hours away. They arrived to our home at 6:30pm to pack up our house. At this time we come to find out we don't even have half the space we needed on the truck, if we were to use the space we needed it would be more than double the price Jay quoted me. My husband & I had them take all of our big items. The next morning we (along with our 3 small children) had to rent a U haul truck and spend the entire day loading the rest of our belongings. Had we had sent everything else with this company we would have had to spend about another $3,000 or more. When I called dispatch to confirm delivery I was met with a very rude woman who doesn't identify herself or her company. Our shipment was delivered on the day requested however when they delivered they refused to put anything together (my husband took it apart on pick up as a courtesy bc they were so late) they plopped everything down in the middle of the rooms. To top it off they damaged multiple pieces of furniture, the worst being a huge hold in my bedroom dresser. WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER!! We paid a lot of money to move a few items 150 miles. Never again!! Don't trust them & don't let JAY quote you!!

Wonderful movers!! Michael, Chris and Noah moved us into our new place. They were very professional and careful. They took great care of everything during the move. They were also very friendly and efficient. They even arranged all the furniture where we wanted. Would definitely hire them again if I have to move!

If you want a company that shows up on time, works incredibly hard for a reasonable price, Interstate Van Lines is the best. We recently had Interstate van lines move our 2 bedroom apartment. It was a very pleasant experience from the beginning. Our sales representative was very helpful and knowledgeable. Then on move day the moving team was excellent. They worked very hard in the rain pay conditions without missing a beat. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service provided by Interstate van lines. They always asked us what we really need and helped us pack the items. It took about three hours to pack them all and load them in the truck. I would easily rate them five stars without any second thoughts. Glad I managed to find someone good here and will be using their services again whenever required. The organized crew were really at it. They never flinched even a bit and delivered their services with top notch quality. I couldn’t have asked for more Perfect moving experience.

I am still somehow surprised at how smoothly my last move went thanks to great guys from Interstate Van Lines. I was surprised at how careful they were. They did a great job. They were so efficient and professional! I cannot thank them enough. This was the easiest long distance move ever. Excellent service, excellent price! I will surely be using them again! What a team! Loved them!

We used Interstate Van Lines few weeks ago cross country and I must say that these guys are just great! They were extreme careful, and even repacked some of my belongings at no extra charge! And now that everything has arrived, I must say that they are the best, most reasonably priced company I have ever moved with! Great service! Highly recommend them!
