My girlfriend and I were referred to Diamandel Diamonds by several friends who had also purchased engagement rings and wedding bands there.

After looking at rings in several other jewelry stores in Baton Rouge, we made an appointment to speak with Ramnik Modha, the owner of Diamandel Diamonds. He was happy to meet with us at our convenience.

I was impressed that Ramnik took the time to actually show us diamonds. He explained different features of a stone, and showed us the rare, beautiful, and unique qualities of a diamond, all under magnification with crystal clarity.

As a guy, shopping for an engagement ring was a way of pleasing my fiancé; I wanted to make her happy because I’m in love with her. I never thought that diamonds were anything special. After speaking with Ramnik, I saw with my own eyes how truly amazing a diamond is.

I was reffered to Ramnik at Diamondel by a friends wife who's family has done business with previously. As are most young single guys, I was a rookie at buying jewelry and had only done research via websites. I had gone to one of the jewelry stores to look for a ring, and of course no one had what I wanted but they promised me they would call me and order some other stones, never heard back. Other jewelers tried to down play all the research I had done making me feel like the Jewelry Biz was rocket science and I hadn't even scatched the surface. Ramnik graciously greeted me at his door, as I called on him unannounced. We sat down and he explained a few things to me, of which was spot on through my research. His store is a hidden upscale building that offers customers a professional, quiet, secluded, yet warm atmosphere that helps to really "dig in" and receive great service. Long story short, he got me the best diamond and setting in 5 minutes...Although I knew what I wanted, he made it very easy and gave suggestions based on my wants/needs. After choosing the engagement diamond and setting, we chatted for more than 30 minutes about experiences and life in general. He is a great listener and I consider him a friend. He has captured my business for the long haul.

I heard of Ramnik at Diamandel from some well established business men around the baton rouge area. After seeing the things they bought for their wives I decided to pay him a visit. I first went to Ramnik around six months before I purchased an engagement ring from him. I must have went there ten times and everytime was greeted and treated like I was family.
