TENNIS 101, with locations in Aliso Viejo and Newport Beach, serves all the communities of south Orange County, offering superior quality private and group tennis instruction for all ages and levels. Specializing in instruction for beginning adults and children, our program provides a systematic, step-by-step introduction to the fundamentals of the sport, that focuses on developing and maintaining excellent form and technique for the groundstrokes, serve, and volley. For intermediate and advanced level players, we focus on the progressive development of the groundstrokes, the volley, and the serve, hitting each with increased power, spin, control, and consistency. Through the use of game situational drills the student learns to master more complex shot selection and strategic play in a simulated competitive environment. TENNIS 101 offers a comprehensive range of private and group tennis lessons for adults and children of all levels, but specializes in instruction for beginners, offering a systematic introduction to the fundamentals of tennis. Group lessons for adults and children are conducted year-round on Saturdays in 8-week sessions, and an After School program for children (utilizing the 10 & Under Tennis format) is offered mid-week.
