Corner Supermarket

I bought two packs of hamburger meat just yesterday, one being the more expensive Black Angus, and the other pack of just regular hamburger. When I was getting ready to make the burgers to cook for people I'd invited, the pack of Black Angus already had two strips of grey meat in it, on the outside. As much as I've cooked over the years, if it was grey on the outside and had a funky smell, which it did, I throw it out. Now I have about half the meat I'd wanted and needed and don't have time to go all the way back to a store in Albemarle. Just talking to them on the phone, they want the meat and the receipt. I have the receipt, but the meats at the back of my yard for the flies and 'possums, because that's all it's safe for, NOT human consumption. I'm really disappointed that they wouldn't take my word AND a picture I took of the meat. On a holiday weekend with people coming in, they ruined it, and said getting the meat back was "store policy" in spite of me having a photo of the meat still in the pack! Save you $$ and go to Ingles(Walmart if you're an idiot and don't know better), but not the Corner Store. A complete ripoff!!!! AND a ruined afternoon!!!
