My mom went in for a wig about 3 years ago....they were so rude she walked out. I went in last week to the salon in Styvesant Plaza for haircut and came out looking like a five year old with blindfold and hedge trimmer just cut my hair. Save yourself the time, money, aggravation and in my case, the tears.

If there was O stars that's what I would rate this salon. The focus is on building up the sale not customer satisfaction. I wanted the top of my hair trimmed so it wouldn't separate, 2 - 3 inches was taken off the bottom and the top stil separates and it's the worst haircut (chopped up that I've ever had), my daughter wanted her bangs trimmed they started cutting and she wound up with a $65 haircut that she could ill afford during prom week. My one granddaughter had a picture of the hairdo that she wanted the end result was it looked nothing like the picture; she was so upset and trying to fix it she missed part of her prom. When I showed the pictures at work this morning everyone at work commented on how beautiful the 2 girls were, how gorgeous their dresses were and then asked if they did their hair themselves. I spent $700 in the salon, without tips to have that kind of result. Well they jacked up their sales & commissions but lost 4 customers.
