Tired of sleepiness? Tired of snoring? Are you tired after a night's sleep? Do you fall asleep behind the wheel? Are you sleepy during the day and fall asleep at inappropriate times? Phoebe's Sleep Disorder Center may have the answer you need to sleep at night and be productive during the day. Our Sleep Center uses the latest technology and diagnostic equipment to investigate what keeps you up at night, in addition to various sleep disorders. Accommodations in our ten-room Sleep Center at Meredyth are comfortably furnished like hotel rooms and include private bathrooms, external temperature controls, and minimal interruptions. Schedule an Appointment Ask your doctor for a referral to the Phoebe Sleep Disorders Center and we will assist you in gaining an appointment with one of our sleep physicians for a timely consultation. If your sleep physician decided further evaluation is required, you will be scheduled for a sleep study, a non-invasive, painless diagnostic test performed to determine if you have a sleep disorder. Tests generally coincide with your normal sleep hours.

Services/Products

Sleep studies are performed to evaluate snoring, breathing, arousals, movements and certain behaviors during sleep. The sleep technologist will gently apply sensors on your head, face and body to closely monitor and record your brain waves, movements, muscle activity, breathing patterns, blood oxygen levels and heart rate and rhythm during sleep. After the sleep test is completed and scored, the sleep physician will review the recording in order to establish a diagnosis and treatment plan to be reviewed with you in a follow-up visit.Designed for patient convenience and comfort; in addition to our daytime consultation rooms, we have 10 bedrooms for overnight sleep studies.
