The Pain Management Center at Phoebe offers a comprehensive range of services for patients suffering from various degrees of chronic pain. The treatment team is led by Dr. Lamar H. Moree, Jr., who has dedicated his career to reducing and eliminating pain. Dr. Moree is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology with a subspecialty certification in Pain management. Pain is an uncomfortable feeling that tells you something may be wrong. It can be steady, throbbing, stabbing, aching, pinching, or even debilitating. Other physical symptoms that often accompany chronic pain include poor physical conditioning, depression and medication overuse. Targeting Chronic Pain Pain is classified as either acute or chronic. Acute pain is usually severe and short-lived, and is often a signal that your body has been injured. Chronic pain, what our team specializes in treating, can range from mild to severe. Chronic pain is present for long periods of time and is often the result of a disease or condition that may require ongoing treatment.
