Cafe Au Lait

I've been a huge fan of the local businesses here in Alameda. Much to my pleasure, I have welcomed Cafe Au Lait in our neighborhood over the past 6 years. I always receive a warm welcome by name from Kim along with all her children. Ok you can probably get coffee from just about any place open before 8:00 am but to arrive at a place where you can walk in and they remember your standard order or suggest a fresh baked item to accompany your daily choice is what I beilieve makes this business a success. They even go as far as to offer you water for your dog should this be a need. You can walk into this shop and just feel that this is a local place which you can consider a second home. I highly recommend this shop to anyone young or old who wishes to get away even if just to socialize with many fellow neighbors.
