Dr. Peter Brukasz MD is the Founder and CEO of The Institute for Vein Health. During his professional career, Dr. Brukasz studied and practiced Internal Medicine and General Surgery. He enjoys a diverse background in healthcare having conducted research in liver transplants, educating medical residents and students, and serving as a medical consultant and patients’ advocate. Dr. Brukasz’s practice is directed exclusively towards diagnosis and treatment of spider veins and varicose vein. Years of practice and thousands of successfully performed minimally invasive procedures, distinguish him as a specialist and expert in the field of venous diseases. He is certified by The American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. In addition, Dr. Brukasz holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
