on 10-9 tech sandpapered the heat sensor, unit did not work. on 10-14 tech replaced heat sensor with new one, unit did not work. on 10-21 tech replaced thermostat and said motherboard was burnt out. Prior to them coming out, my heater worked occasionally and the air conditioner worked perfectly. After the technician left today, I have no AC and no Heat, he states "it will be a week". This is without a doubt the worst service I have ever experienced. Additionally, I went into the attic to look the unit to see if I could order the part or find it quicker and the technician took the part with him and left a bunch of wires dangling with the covers off the unit or as they say "sabotage"....DO NOT ALLOW THESE PEOPLE INTO YOUR ATTIC...EVER

An emergency repair was placed on June 27, 2016. Calls were made and messages left. No one has returned a call. I have a wife at home on oxygen and the heat is unbearable.

This is one of the saddest experience dealing with a vendor. This Jacob Cosby worked on 4 of our houses and ripped us off. He mismatched wires and left every house a fire hazard. Also every time the tenants would turn a number of items in the house on, the lights will be tripped off. He put empty outside HVAC units without coils and other parts. He collected money for all these houses to the tune of almost $20,000 yet did such a shoddy work just to cut corners.The errors were so blatant that we had code enforcement condemn all 4 houses he worked on. We have had to spend over $10,000 correcting his error on the houses. He will definitely be hearing from our Attorney. He needs to col his heels in prison. Jacob Cosby is a fraud. For your sanity sake, do not do any business with him or Southern Comfort HVAC! Jacob is a real scam artist. Please avoid him and save yourself the pain and aggravation.

I worked with Jacob Cosby of Southern Comfort HVAC and initially he did a great job on small jobs. He was paid $3800 for HVAC and electrical work, and he did not complete work. He said it was complete except for the ac outside condenser, which he will give me at a later date. Had to pay an electrician to correct all the work he did wrong. Fire hazard. Now HVAC company said I am missing coil, line set and the outside unit. Over $1000 in parts alone. I am talking to an attorney now to see what my recourse is.

I would not do business with this company again. They came out twice to my house to diagnose an issue and were supposed to schedule another call the following week to fix the issue. The following week they would not return my calls to even tell me what the issue was so I could have someone else fix it. I even spoke to the General Manager on the phone. He apologized that no one had returned my calls and promised someone would. Two weeks later I still have not heard from them and am giving up. I guess they just wanted the money for the original service calls.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REPAIRS.
