Comprehensive Services From pre-discharge consultation to creating a comprehensive health care plan for your unique situation, we listen to you and your family. We work with your physicians to help you regain your independence and quality of life at home. Services include: •Skilled nursing •Physical therapy •Speech therapy •Occupational therapy •Medical social work •Home health aide Genesis HomeCare, a partnership between Genesis Health Care and Alternate Solutions HomeCare offers a wide range of in-home specialty programs, chronic disease programs, and screenings. Personal Care: When keeping up with daily tasks becomes difficult for you or someone you know, get assistance from Genesis CareGivers at 740-454-1370. To help you remain comfortable in your own home for as long as possible—or to support you if you’re part of an assisted living community—we provide home care aides and other services from two to 24 hours a day. You don’t need to be homebound to get care. Services We Offer Genesis CareGivers offers these services without a doctor’s order: •Bathing •Daily hygiene •Dressing & grooming •Mobility •Physician-prescribed exercises •Meal preparation •Laundry •Light housekeeping •Shopping •Errands outside your home You’ll need physician approval for private duty nursing services performed by a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN). Although Medicare doesn’t cover Genesis CareGiver services, you may be eligible for PASSPORT, Ohio Home Care and Transitional Disability waivers, or support from the Veteran’s Administration. You’re also welcome to pay for services directly.
