Action Movers

Fantastic Service! I found this company on Angie's List when I needed to get a piano moved. I was skeptical when they quoted me a price that was less than 1/2 of what most companies were quoting me, but they had good reviews so I went with them and I was not disappointed. They responded immediately to my voicemail and sent me text messages to keep me informed of flexible scheduling options. Most companies told me it would be a 2 hour job but they got it done in less than an hour. They were prompt, professional, and courteous. I won't do another move without considering this company first.

I did not have a good experience with them. I scheduled my appointment weeks ago and confirmed the Wednesday before. They were supposed to arrive at 9:30 am on Friday. I called at 10:00 am and Rafael said that one of his movers said he had to reschedule and he never thought to tell me. He said he would send someone within the hour. Around 10:30, I received a call from another employee who said that he would not be able to come until 12:30 pm but he would send a third person for free. I told him that I only had a few big pieces of furniture and the third person doesn't make sense, in my situation, but he insisted. When they finally arrived at 1:00 pm, they were half done loading the truck within 15 minutes. At this point Rafael told me that there was a two hour minimum. I explicitly asked him this when I made the appointment weeks ago and he said that there was no minimum. I had been moving things myself in order to cut down on fees before then. If I knew there was a minimum, I would have left more for them. At this point, they began moving at a much slower pace. We were finished moving after an hour and 45 minutes. Although he said on the phone he would only charge per 15 minute intervals, I paid for the full two hours. The entire experience was very frustrating and I would not recommend them to anyone.
