Wickey's Caterers

I hate writing bad reviews, however, stay away from using Wickey. I wish i had someone warn me. In the beginning, Wickey seemed like a God sent and at the tasting, the food tasted good. When he gave me a quote for $15,000, i thought that was reasonable. However, two weeks before my wedding, I got a new bill for $28,000.00. When I freaked out, he then dropped it to $25,000.00. Due to it now being a week till my wedding, my parents had to eat the cost and just go with him.
The day before the wedding when they started setting up, they decided to put a huge frame up in my reception area, which took up too much room. I told them they can't have that there due to it taking away from my guest. They then gave me attitude and told me it was staying. When my mother told them it needs to be moved, they also gave her attitude. There was about an hour back and forth until they finally moved it. They day of my wedding, they ran out of food. We had less people show up to the wedding than the count we gave him. around 15 guest weren’t able to make it, however, Wickey still ended up running out of food. Now, for $25,000.00 for 130 people. I should of had left overs for weeks.
They following day when i went back to the venue, Wickey left so much trash back at the venue. Not only did my husband and myself had to do the trash and clean up the place, we also got our $500.00 security deposit taken from us, due to the way Wickey left the venue. Wickey needs to not be a caterer. He is a lier, a thief, and downright a horrible person. When I emailed him with how upset i was, he basically told me to screw it.
If you want a good caterer, DO NOT GO WITH HIM.
