A very honest and trustworthy company. I contacted Aardvark Basement Waterproofing to address a crack in my garage/basement wall. They came out to my home to take a look and provide an estimate on repairs. They explained my situation in detail and provided me some options. However, in the end they determined that the crack was not structural and did not require immediate attention. They provided me some options to address the issue myself. I really appreciate them not trying to scare customers into costly repairs that may not even been necessary.

Although we will not get the basement completed until January Chad and Trina came to our house and we’re great!!! They explained everything and shows us everything that is to be expected. Also their price was better than I originally expected and just speaking to them you can tell they are very good people. Can’t wait for the work to start so I can start to get my house back in order! I waited over a year to write this review in order to make sure our new basement drain system could handle some serious storms. And it has handled everything that mother nature has thrown her way so far, including Hurricane Ida dropping over 9 inches in one day. Before Chad and his crew did their work, anything more than 2 or 3 inches would send me running for the shop vac and pumps.

Aardvark installed two new sump pits and a perimeter drain around our entire basement. They also cleaned out our basement window wells and installed drain pipes in each of them. The pipe work and cement was all finished nicely and you could see the crew took pride in their work.

We had one or two issues pop up during construction and Chad and his crew were quick to address them. They even drove out to my house at 8:30 on a Friday night because the grout around one of the pipes was leaking. Most other contractors wouldn't even return your phone call until Monday morning.

Overall we couldn't be happier and are mad at ourselves for not doing this sooner. We now have a great finished basement for our kids to play in and my home office. It doesn't flood and ruin everything, there is no mold or smell. The dank, dirty basement feels like an distant memory now.

Chad and Trina and the rest of the crew were always polite, professional, and friendly. At every step of the process you could tell that they wanted to make sure that we were satisfied, and we certainly are. Thunderstorms used to make my wife and I very anxious, but we are finally able to relax and just enjoy the storm.

I cannot recommend Aardvark enough. I had a VERY difficult crawl space project in a 100 year old house that needed to be addressed and not only did Chad come up with a good idea, he came up with the BEST idea and price, and had I quoted out three other companies. Chad thinks outside of the box and delivers results not only professionally but it was also a joy to work with him, his wife Catrina and his crew.

Communication was excellent. I had a lot of questions and all of them were answered to my satisfaction before contracting with them.

Not only did Chad and his crew complete the job as described and on time, but they also took on some cosmetic work around the foundation of my house for a very reasonable extra charge AND some work that they did not have to do for me at all but did anyway. Chad even taught me a few things that will help keep my home safe now and in the future.

In addition to the masonry, a lot of my plumbing needed moved and in some cases replaced entirely. The plumber they contracted did a stellar job and even though it was more work than originally planned for, my price did not change.

In short, I am incredibly grateful for Aardvark's time and expertise with this project and would recommend them to anyone. Support your mom and pop businesses. They are worth it.
