        Discover the "joy" of dance today! Our goal is to pass on our passion of dance to students while working with them in a fun and disciplined environment. We believe that dancing should be a productive and rewarding experience teaching life lessons.

        Voted #1 dance studio in Waco and celebrating 40 years of sharing our passion of dance! JSOD offers fun dance classes for ages 1 - adult in many dance styles including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, musical theater and ballroom. Specialty classes include Mommy and Me Ballet, Boys Hip Hop, Pre-teen and Teen Classes, Dance/Drill Team prep class, and classes for speical needs children through Hope Therapy. JSOD also offers summer programs including Princess Camp for ages 3 - 6, Diva Day Camp for ages 7 - 10, and 5 week combo classes for ages 1 - 6. JSOD has a punch card system for adult classes and offers ballet, tap, and jazz classes. We invite you to our annual free recital on June 15 - 16 at the Midway Performing Arts Center at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on each day. Under the ownership of Natalie George, and the exceptional staff, JSOD has grown to serve 2 locations and trains 400 students. Join our JSOD family today!

        Great Dance Studio

        This is a great studio for all ages. We recently mvoed to the area from NC and were part of another studio first. Then I did an enormous amount of research and found Joy's School of Dance. We have been there a year and have loved it. I have 2 level 4 almost level 5 students and a level 1 student. So all levels have excellent teaching. They have a Company dance for levels 4 and up, but you have to show that you are willing to work hard and show up to practices.
