Dr. Merkling and his staff, Katie and Barb, are wonderful people! They are very friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and professional. My husband and I appreciate the customer service they provide, as well as how they are educated on healthy "alternative" living and are supportive of a natural lifestyle. I had been living in chronic pain - mostly in my neck and upper back - for about a decade. I finally discovered Community Chiropractic Center and immediately found relief after my first adjustment. After just 5 weeks, Dr. Merkling discovered I was afflicted with a hard-to-diagnose disorder in my brain stem. Because of the sensitivity of the disorder high up in my neck, he uses alternative techniques, as opposed to traditional adjustments, to realign my neck . He is very knowledgeable, very educated, and very in-tuned with how I respond to each adjustment. I also bring my 2 children to Dr. Merkling for adjustments. My son is 10 and my daughter is 7. They had been complaining about different pains that have been quickly alleviated since they began receiving adjustments. My son had a head injury when he was 8, and over the past couple years, he developed tics that were becoming more and more prevalent and severe as time went on. My husband and I noticed a decrease in his ticking almost immediately after his first adjustment, and after about 3 weeks to a month, my son's tics had completely vanished. He also is sleeping better and the mood swings he suffered from have balanced out. My daughter often complained of severe foot pain. Nothing helped the pain until she started getting adjusted. Now she is active in basketball and dance, and her feet don't bother her anymore. My husband has chronic sinus issues, among other health complaints. He has only just started getting adjusted by Dr. Merkling, but we have great hopes after seeing how our children and I have had such positive results. We are very grateful for Dr. Merkling for the quality of life he as given back to my children, my husband, and myself.
