We adopted a cat from this place and paid the fees for the adoption. Which included the neutering. So we brought the cat back for the neutering and we where charged $78.00 more for anesthesia which we were not told up front.. Then they talked inappropriately about orher vets in the area. Not good for business. Especially we were charged more for the surgery. We could of gone to a spay and neutering clinic.

Dr. Rockwell and all the staff have been awesome!! I brought my cat in as a referral from a Vet in Jacksonville he was a VERY sick kitty. Dr. Rockwell did the necessary tests and surgery the day I brought him in. He stayed there for 4 days.. everyday I called to check on him the front desk girls were always kind and would get a report on how he was doing. When I brought him home they called after a couple days to check on him. Dr. Rockwell and staff saved my cat..I am so thankful for them all. They have been nothing but kind and compassionate. Thank you Dr. Rockwell and staff you are appreciated!!

After more than 50 years of pets and vets, let me assure the Wilmington cat fanciers that the SOUND CAT VETERINARY HOSPITAL is in the hands of a top notch DMV who also is an astute and seasoned researcher completely on top of her profession--and totally beyond ordinary practitioners. Dr, Rosemarie Williams is supremely aware of state-or -the art medical development (treatments, laboratory and surgical instrumentation) that impact her handling of all issues relevant to felines. As a scientist myself, I greatly appreciate what the kevel of skills and knowledge means to practical application of the art and craft of veterinary, or human medical for that matter. Given the very impressive suites of equipment that the hospital maintains, and the level of professionalism within it, it is a wonder that the pricing is so affordable. While I live in the south of Wilmington, and the hospital is north of town, forget the gas/mileage: make the trip!
