First Citizens Bank

After receiving a check from my employer I went to Citizens to cash it. Well the teller told me after I gave her my ID she had to verify it .( I already cashed checks there before) she calls the number on the account gets a hold of the owner to verify they issued the check. He said yes he knew I was supposed to receive the check . but he has a book keeper who wrote the check she proceed to question him on the amount or check number Now how the hell is he supposed to remember check numbers the he personally didn't write but signed .I was so embarrassed that she had to bother the owner like she did .
I was contractor for thirty years had only one time in 8 yrs they call and just if I gave this person a check but I was not interrogated.
The teller could of asked for 2 ids She could of checked the signature before she bothered the owner.
and to be treated like I stooled the check . and to add insult to injury she proceeded to charge me $6.00 to cash it . I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS BANK TO ANYONE. CAN YOU SAY OVER KILL. NEXT TIME I LL DEPOSIT IT IN MY OWN BANK.
