LKQ Pick Your Part - Wilmington

I know its junk yard, but at least they could keep their website up to date. I went there today Saturday November 19th 2016. I walked to the newer car section at 3:45 and the girl told me that they were closing. Then she walked away when i was asking her why they were closing early. Then the security guard walked me out and said that there were signs posted in the front saying that they close at 4:00 pm now. I took pics of the signs in the front, and the signs stated that they close at 5:00Pm on Saturdays. I even knew exactly what I needed, and where it was in the yard, but no I had to go. I asked the security guard why their website doesn't say anything about their new hours, and he told me that they don't update their website anymore. I also asked for my admission fee to be returned, he said no to that as well. I will never return to LKQ Pick Your Part!

Parts on these yards have gotten progressively more expensive every year, by a lot!! An alternator cost you $45 in the yard but you can have one rebuilt for $60 and save yourself all the aggravation of looking around a huge yard and maybe finding the part you're looking for.

The yard can still save you money if you know what you want and how to take it off and install it. I visit the yard less and less as car parts are more available from other sources at great prices!!
