        Route 66 Robbery

        We made reservations for two nights, three months in advance and yes, got a great price, NOT!!!

        When we got to the motel we were told that the manager could not check us because they had a problem with an online reservation company and that we would need to go down the street to the Grand Motel and speak with the owner Elton (he owns both online reservation (with the price we had already paid). He stated that he had a problem with several online reservation companies about 4 days ago and that he would not honor our prepaid reservation. Upon returning home, we filed a fraud charge with our credit card company and just received the credit back to our account, 3 months later. So yes, they post great rates online, prepaid of course, but once you get there they steal your money, don't honor your reservation, and then lie to your face about it.
