Village Park At Woodgate

The WORST. These places have both beg bugs AND fleas. The office people for the new company are completely incompetent. The head lady is SO rude. Always trying to blame everything on the tenants. And since we had to ask 15 times that the dangerous wood pile in the hallway be removed, she's retaliated by holding out pest control. And that's AFTER they tried to kick me out for non-payment of rent when I had CLEARLY paid. These places are disgusting and I wouldn't wish these slums on my worst enemy.

While I lived there, I'd say everything operated at about average standards. Nothing outstanding, but nothing particularly offensive. I was fond of the balcony and nicely kept walking area between the apartments. I had no beef with them until I notified them I'd be leaving at the end of my lease.



Suddenly everything that was wrong with the apartment, I had to pay for, despite it being clearly marked on the initial walkthrough. So we had to dig that out. Be VERY careful, or they will want you to pay to repaint walls that started off with marks, replace carpet that was already old, blinds that were already broken, etc. They don't patch up their apartments in between tenants.



I was done with them, so I thought, and then I got a letter from law offices saying I owed them money. Hmm? A phone call fixed that, and that's as far as it went, but feels like AWFUL office management to go as far as suing a former tenant incorrectly.



Had they handled my leaving differently, I'd have given them a higher rating. At this point I don't think it'd be worth the risk, monetarily, for any newcomers. They'll get ya if they can.
