Labor and Delivery
Do you have pockets of fat in tough areas around the abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, and back? Liposuction can remove fatty deposits from nearly anywhere on the body. Using small, inconspicuous incisions, liposuction suctions away fat cells to reveal the trimmer, slimmer physique you had before childbirth or that youâ€™ve always wanted.

Ultrasound
Dr. Conrad was an early user of ultrasonic-assisted liposuction which uses ultrasound waves to break up fat before it is suctioned out. Laser-assisted liposuction targets and dissolves fat.
MRI
Silicone implants are made out of a silicone shell and are filled with a silicone gel. Many women prefer silicone because they feel very similar to natural breast tissue. However, as they are filled before insertion, these implants require slightly larger incisions. Dr. Conradâ€™s location and closure methods leave a scar that typically heals very well and is imperceptible. A silicone implant rupture is not always immediately apparent and may need an MRI to confirm.
Mammography
Partial Submuscular: This method places the implant beneath the pectoralis muscle on the chest, which helps to create a more natural appearance by providing more tissue to cover the shape of the implant, lowers capsular contracture rates and is better for mammography.
Chemotherapy
Depending on the patientâ€™s desires and the surgeonâ€™s recommendation, either immediate or delayed breast reconstruction can be performed. Immediate breast reconstruction is performed at the same time as the mastectomy (removal of the breast) and has several advantages over delayed reconstruction. However, you and your surgeon may choose to delay reconstruction if you need post-mastectomy radiation therapy or chemotherapy. Delayed reconstruction may also be a more comfortable option if you are concerned that possible recurrence will affect your reconstruction results in the future due to subsequent cancer treatment.

Laser Resurfacing
Recovery: Patients will notice minimal bruising and swelling in the area for about one to two weeks. Wounds should be cleansed and bandages should be changed daily.
