Mountain View Optical

If a lens falls out of a brand new pair of glasses (6 weeks old), what would you hope the optical department would do for you? Keep in mind the lens fell out and was not found. If you expect the organization to go above and beyond and replace the lens without cost (for an 86 year old woman on a fixed income) don't come to Mountain View Optical. Tim, the manager, assured me the lenses, frame and fitting were all done correctly (he's the one who fit the lenses and frames in the first place, so OF COURSE, he couldn't have made a mistake), therefore, to replace the lens would cost $176. I believe it would have been excellent customer service to take the loss of $176 for an elderly lady and good consumer reviews.
