Every time I board my dog there, we have problem. This time she came back home coughing and sneezing. It took about a week to clear up. When I called about it, Leo seemed clueless. He has a very bad attitude. Also, although she we had her shampooed while she was there, she came back loaded with fleas and flea eggs. My dog was clean and in perfect health when she arrived. My dog has been vaccinated for kennel cough and we use frontline on her regularly. I don't get it. This was nice place years ago - apparently this place has changed.

So disappointed! My Persian has been going to Van-Elgers for years to be groomed. Despite all the rumors and how rude the idiot is that answers the phone, I continued to bring my cat there until today. Leo is the rudest, most ignorant man I've ever encountered. I was 10 minutes late so I was already given an attitude. Then he tells me, I told you to bring in her update rabies vaccine. He never told me anything. Then took off to get my cat and said if she scratches anyone I'm putting her in quarantine for 10 days. You idiot, she's a Persian she doesnt go outside and secondly if you weren't such an idiot, her vet could've faxed over her updated records. They literally haven't asked for her records in 3 years. Last few years it's been all cash transactions, I should've known what kind of place Van Elgers was turning into. The woman was so sweet who ran it before now this idiot is running the place. I ignored the rumors around town and had the attitude well yeah he's rude but the groomer does a great job. If you're not happy, retire!
