Thank you guys for great service! Wouldn't know what to do without you. This company is courteous, efficient and easy to work with. I am a partner in a small business so they do all of my payroll, quarterly and income taxes as well as inputting to keep my books in order with QuickBooks. I have been using them for the last 4 years and I highly recommend them!
Horrible company to deal with. Way overpriced and the surprise billing at the end. I am capable of doing my own taxes, but this year I decided to seek the advice of an accountant. I know I always file a 1040, MD, Schedule A, K-1, Schedule D. So based on their sheet they give you for pricing this would be $365 (pricey), but I wanted to see if they could do better than Turbo Tax. So the accountant does basic entry into the software and surprise .. its the same number Turbo Tax gives. I was ok with that. However, they call and tell me the bill is $630 and I lost it. Sorry to the manager I use the F word to, but still !!!. What they do is they charge you also for the forms that the Schedule A and D require on top of the fee for Schedule A and D (ha ha.. chop shop). Also, any other forms their system might output that you are unaware of at the time of signing.. Like AMT .. guess what .. another $80 charge. So the advice is limited so its basically data entry which you can easily do on Turbo Tax (probably better software). So in a nutshell, if you want to pay over $600 for a simple tax return, then go to them. I strongly recommend staying away from this place. Better off going to a CPA that does hourly or discloses the fees properly up front or use TURBO TAX.... WAY BETTER OFF. BUYER BEWARE.. OVERPRICED CPAs from Carroll County... Should have used my less expensive accountants in NY !!!!
