Service

A nice spot to get some "R&R" close to Los Angeles. It sits on a golf course (though I don't golf) and the grounds are beautiful. Each room has a fireplace and its own little patio. Presidents have stayed here. My favorite part was the new Stonehaus restaurant/bar, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Feels like you're dining in a vineyard in Tuscany, and I really enjoyed the menu offerings. The hotel pool is nothing to write home about, but this is a peaceful getaway, perfect for my recent writer's retreat.
