An 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course, Glen Oaks Country Club is spread on more than 200-acres of land. Glen Oaks Country offers a wide variety of rental plans, semiprivate memberships, and private and group lessons to its members. Glen Oaks also offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts and a fully equipped fitness studio. Located in West Des Moines, Iowa, it has a clubhouse, restaurant and coffee shop, driving range, pitching, putting and chipping greens, power and pull carts, and locker rooms. The club s pro shop carries a complete line of golf equipment, apparel and accessories from Titlist, Ping, Cobra, Callaway, Taylor Made, FootJoy, adidas, Ashworth, Fairway, and Greene and Haley. Glen Oaks restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes and beverages, such as sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, barbecue, seafood and various types of wine and beer. Additionally, the club provides banquet and catering services for several events, including birthdays, corporate events, anniversaries, weddings and rehearsal dinners.
