Midd's Heating & Cooling

So, I get home and my home is 35 degrees. My furnace ignitor failed. I get home after 5pm and apparently no one needs anything after 5pm. So everyone closes. Everyone except Midd's and a few other random places.

So, I give Midd's a call and he tells me to bring my broken ignitor with me and he will see if he has one that I can replace it with. Now, I understand that I have a demand and he may be one of the only suppliers. However, when the ignitor I need can be found all over the WORLD for $25 (Search Ebay for Q3200u ignitor) and he charges me $80!!!! Plus tax, plus some unknown service fee totalling $87.34. Well, he's simply taking advantage of a crappy situation.

Professional guy at first glance but his prices are absolutely out of control. I'm completely disappointed in being gouged in a time of need. My pipes would certainly have frozen if I hadn't gotten my furnace up and running.

I purchased the item as is, no warranty. SO, if it failed after install I was up crap creek. In the image you see exactly what came with it and the receipt. No idea what the $2.54 charge was. I just knew I NEEDED heat in my home.

So, if you need it, he may have it. Just be prepared to sever your left leg for it.
