My husband and I stopped in for lunch on our way back from Tampa. Our waitress was attentive and answered our many questions about the area. We sat outside and watched nature as birds dove for fish in the river. Even a manatee floated by. We enjoyed our fried conch appetizer and our grilled grouper sandwiches were cooked perfectly. We had a relaxing and tasty lunch.

The worst garbage I have had in a long time. My wife and i blew over $30. on horrible food. I had wings that were like boiled chicken with no sauce at all. How can that be? Who knows. My wife's meal was equally as bad, and the service was also terrible.

I am not sure when you were there, but I can assure you that the food is way better than edible. This is not a 5 star restaurant...it is a casual sports bar...never the less, I had a blackened grouper reuben and a steak sandwich recently which were both excellent. I brought a party of 15

several weeks ago...our server was attentive and took care of us without any problems. There were some "food issues" several years ago...but they have been reversed. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

The food here is edible. That's the nicest way to put it. I had the French dip and I could of purchased one of the same quality at the gas station. Service was very poor. They had to correct our bill 3 times. I don't recommend at all based upon this experience. We did have a table of 20 in there defense. The food was still pathetic according to everyone at the table.

We stopped there after 8 hours of kayaking the springs and were tired and hungry. We asked the server if there were happy hour specials. She said no, but the pitchers were $7.50. We asked what was on draft and she named off the beers, including Sam Adams. My husband asked if she was sure about the price and the server said that was correct, $7.50. It took about 15-20 minutes to get our pitcher (from a different server), so we complained a bit about that. The server also rushed us to place our food order, then returned 20 minutes later to see if someone had served our food or taken our order. Huh? At that point, I explained that we were upset about the long wait on the beer and food and the server told me I was being rude to her. I then asked for the manager. About 10 minutes later the food arrived and the server acted like we had never complained and we sill hadn't seen the manager. I figured I'd wait until after dinner. We also had ordered a 2nd pitcher, but only drank one from it and gave it to the nice table next to us; we were full. When we finished our meal the check came and to my total surprise, the pitchers were $12.95 each! I asked the server about the price and she blatantly lied and said that was correct for Sam Adams. I explained that she said otherwise when we ordered and demanded again to see the manager. After a few minutes, the manager came out to our table yelling at us, "What's your problem, and why are you harassing my server?" My husband and I both started to explain the situation and the manager loudly interrupted us to explain how expensive Sam Adams was. I told him the server should have given us the correct pricing. He then yelled at us and said we were trying to get free meal out of this and if we wanted faster and better service to go to McDonald's. My husband, myself and the manager all got into a shouting match and we never got the chance to even explain our side of the story. This all occurred in the packed outdoor dining area in front of all the other guests. I was in total shock at how we were being treated. The manager yelled at us the pay the bill and get out or he'd call the cops. We paid the bill and left immediately. NEVER, have we been treated so rudely and obnoxiously, especially by a manger who also claimed to be the owner! We will NEVER step foot in there again and I DO NOT recommend this place. Unfortunately, after this event, we read the other online reviews and found them to be similar to our experience.

I had the Ceasar salad, and it was great. My brother had the wings, which I shared and they were great. We sat outside and the view was really great compared to the weather in Illinois. Would definitely go there again the next time I visit
