Dental Care
In February of 2017 we opened the doors to our custom-built animal hospital, where we also offer Play-cations; a boarding and daycare facility, and provide haul-in services for horses and other farm animals. From sick or injured animals to those needing routine dental care and surgeries, we are here to provide for all of your pets’ healthcare needs.
Vaccination
During their first year, your kitten or puppy will require regular visits with their veterinarian. These visits are comprised of physical exams, vaccinations, and diagnostic testing – all of which allow us to keep tabs on your pet’s health as they grow and develop.
Veterinary Ophthalmology
Wellness exams allow our veterinarians to detect problems and diseases that might go undiscovered otherwise, including heart murmurs, tumors, enlarged organs, cataracts, ear infections, ear mites, dental disease, skin issues and allergies.
Nutritional Counseling
Horse teeth are different than many mammals in that they continue to grow throughout their lives. Hooks and waves can interfere with food intake and bridle bits (leading to possible weight loss and behavioral issues), which is why our vet team suggests a float at least once a year. For younger horses, dental work may be needed more frequently, since tooth growth slows as a horse ages. Ask your doctor to assess how often your horse may need to see the dentist!

Both puppies and kittens should have certain diagnostic tests over the course of their first year. Puppies should be tested for heartworm by 12 months of age, if not before. Kittens, on the other hand, should be tested for feline leukemia (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) during their first exam.
