Medical Weight Loss
Lung & Sleep Specialists of North Texas wants to provide the most comprehensive solution for your health concerns. For that reason, we have partnered with leading integrative medicine expert, Dr. Catherine Oseni, to address your weight management needs. Snoring
This small device is implanted under the skin during an outpatient surgical procedure. Once implanted, the Inspire neurostimulator delivers mild stimulation to the hypoglossal nerve, which controls the muscles and movements of the tongue, to open the upper airway and improve airflow during sleep. Patients use a remote to turn on the device when they go to bed, and they can adjust their own therapy as necessary to resolve snoring and sleep apnea.

Dr. Catherine Oseni is a certified integrative and functional medicine practitioner as well as clinical pharmacist. She is the founder and director of integrative and functional medicine at Alpha Care Wellness Center. By working closely with Dr. Catherine Oseni, we are able to use an alternative, integrative treatment approach to sleep wellness that includes functional medicine, nutraceuticals, as well as weight loss and weight management plans to improve or resolve obstructive sleep apnea and other sleep problems. We also provide clearance for bariatric surgery for weight loss when necessary.
