Alexa's Custom Upholstery

The only reason I am giving this a one is because I can't rate it a zero. That is exactly what type of service I got, a zero! This should be named Alexa's House of Horrors. The employee, Winifred, talked a good game and convinced me that she would be able to do a good job with my beloved heirloom couch. She turned my classic couch into a contemporary mess. She changed my 1/2" into a 2" cord trim. The pillows had exposed stuffing. The couch had less stuffing then when I originally took it in. I expressed my displeasure and she exploded. Her bad attitude was unbelievable! I had to beg her to complete the job. She came to my home with staple gun in hand and started to work on the couch in house with the same nasty attitude. I felt like I did something wrong for asking her to do the job I payed her to do. One year later, my couch is now falling apart. The seams on all of the pillows are unraveling. I had to get my own needle out and repair it myself. If you are looking for an upholstery place that you expect to get what you pay for, do not go here. If you are looking for customer service with a smile, truly, this is not the place for you. Stay away at all cost! You'll be sorry if you don't!

I went to Alexa's to get dining room and bar chairs reupholstered for a leasing office. Appearance was crucial but we were also on a very tight budget with corporate. After getting 5 quotes Alexas was 40-60% cheaper than any other reupholstery business I could find. The lower price almost concerned me because I thought the quality would suffer but I couldn't be happier with what I got. The chairs are beautiful and I have already been getting compliments from residents, employees, and upper management! We even came in $100.00 under budget.



Winifred helped me out through the whole process and was a pleasure to work with. I was surprised to read the negative review here. I don't know much about heirloom couches but I can definitely vouch for the dining room style chairs I received back the quality combined with the rock bottom price give this a 5 star A+ rating!
