Out of date buildings, cheaply maintained and overall bad living environment. The property owners foreclosed on the property months before notifying residents. The property managers run extreme deals to get new renters, however this caused the area to become crime ridden. Police are constantly in the development, my neighbors smoked which drifted into my home causing my kids to get sick and cough. I was unable to run on my treadmill in my garage due to the smoke smell and stink. On weekend nights my neighbors smoked so badly my kids had to sleep downstairs. I notified the property manager who blew me off. My neighbors would ignore my requests to stop smoking simply by not answering their door. I was unable to sleep some nights due to the stench and constant coughing caused by the problems of my neighbors smoking. I had to wash my clothes twice to get the smell out and had to throw away some items from my garage. Stay away from this place, don't rent under any circumstances.

Bed Bugs!!! Among other bugs that constantly find their way in deposits my efforts. Tried to raise rent from $785 to $950, let us stay after tells by them we would not renew our lease.... The BB's came shortly after :( currently half the buildings here are empty, now I know why. Wishing we had moved instead of Renee lease, now I just feel tramped and itchy. Not happy at all!!

I lived here back in 2008 and moved out in 2009. I was told by the apartment manager that we were all good to go and we were not required to pay any additional fees upon moving out. However, 3 years later I see a charge on my credit report from MOUNTAINEER ESTATES claiming that I failed to pay them 359 dollars for damages. WTF? I wrote them, emailed them, and even called only to keep getting pushed off. I ended up paying the debt because I just wanted it gone. I have no idea why it took them 3 years to file it with collections and once I had completely ETS'd from the military. Why would they not just contact me through the military and hash it out that way. They REFUSED to provide a receipt showing what the charges were for and I couldn't even get the credit bureau to step in and help. Now EVERY TIME I move I have to explain this big black mark on my credit for something that I can't even begin to explain without it sounding like a giant lavish lie. I hate this place. Way to ruin peoples credit scores without even contacting them to try and sort out the issue. If I could give them a ZERO star rating, I would.

Where to begin? This place was a mess at move in and had a hole in the wall. The windows let the freezing temperatures right on in during the winter, and all the bugs in the world on through in the summer. No a/c, so be prepared to sweat in the summer. They say they are pet friendly but they are not. You will pay to shampoo the carpets at move out only to have them come in and rip them up to check underneath for any stains! No matter if they where from you or not you will then pay to replace the carpets. The rent is high and so is the electric bill. Just stay away military friends. There is so much more to say and I have so many pictures of this place from the horrible move in conditions to the carpets during move out. Don't waste your time, rude management and they will take you for every penny you got during move out. So much more to say but don't have the time.

AWFUL place to live. NON Military Friendly. Bed Bugs, Spiders and bee's. The worst part is that (Manager is not tracking) all the serious issues that you report to the supervisor, she just keep it internal. Is a non safe place to live if you are going deploy. A saw the watertown Plolice chasing a thief thru the appartments.

Only good thing is the inner space of the apartment. For the rest NO Recommend -100. This report is not to mess with anyone is just to help you out on your research and I will get this to FT Drum housing as well.
